Check this page often for updated listings of all types of cycling events in and around our area. Rides require at minimum an appropriate bike in good working order, water, and a helmet. We suggest a spare tube, energy food, and maybe a little cash in case you stop. Many rides are subject to weather. It's a good idea to confirm dates, time and any specific requirements as well. See you out there — and have fun!
Many of these cycling events can't take place without the help of volunteers. If you are participating in one of these events, please encourage a non-cycling family member or friend to join you by volunteering. It's fun and a great way to spend time together. Please contact the event organizer if you are not participating but are able to volunteer.
In addition, some of these events require fund-raising to benefit charitable organizations. Contact the organizer for further information.
Shreveport Bicycle Club Weekly Rides. Saturday Mornings: 7:30 (Don't be late!) from Ellerbe Road Baptist Church in Southeast Shreveport. Varying abilities and lengths.
At times, the church hosts special events and they request that cyclists do not use their parking lots. Please respect their wishes and check the Shreveport Bicycle Club website for restrictions and updates.
